PERELANDRA GARDEN WORKBOOK
A Complete Guide to Gardening with Nature Intelligences, 2nd Edition.
by Machaelle Small Wright
A manual for those who wish to work in conscious partnership with nature intelligence. Includes environmental processes presented in an easy, step-by-step format that anyone can follow.
The Garden Workbook is a hands-on manual for those who wish to work in conscious partnership with the overlighting nature intelligences. In this book, I have broken down environmental processes I use with nature in the garden and have presented them in an easy, step-by-step format that anyone can follow. (I'm not kidding. You won't believe how easy this will be for you!) The book begins with how to get started in this partnership with nature, and continues through the simple techniques of communication and how to get detailed information from nature.
This edition of the Perelandra Garden Workbook (published in 1993) contains updated material, process refinements and helpful hints for making co-creative work easier. Much of the new material is a result of questions and comments I've received since the original edition was published in 1987. Other material resulted from the ongoing research at Perelandra.
INCLUDES:
- Where to position a garden and how to lay it out
- Interplanting and the use of flowers, herbs and minerals
- Fertilizing and how to work with the Deva of Soil
- Gardening with birds, animals and insects
- Seasonal maintenance
- Harvesting for and making flower essences
- Three important environmental energy balancing processes: the Energy Cleansing Process, the Battle Energy Release Process and the Soil Balancing and Stabilizing Process.
Interspersed throughout are nature sessions that were translated for this book. Each session explains and gives insight into the various processes and how they fit into universal natural law.
Helpful video companions to the Workbooks:
DVD-1: The Perelandra Garden, is especially helpful if you wish to integrate the information from the two Workbooks into your environment.
DVD-3: Working with Nature in Soil-less Gardens, lays out all the necessary guidelines for applying both Workbooks to the areas of your life not growing in soil: business, home, education, etc.
IMPORTANT: Although this book is written from the perspective of a gardener, its use is not restricted to gardens growing in soil. The processes worked out with nature for the Perelandra garden are processes that can be lifted from the garden context and applied wherever one wishes to work with nature in a partnership. For example, the Workbook is being used successfully by landscape architects, backyard architects, foresters, farmers and ranchers. It is also being used by folks who want to establish a balanced environment with a pond, a single aquarium, one houseplant or an atrium.
But nature affects us in other ways, too, and the Workbook is equally effective in soil-less gardens such as balancing the interior of a house, or developing a business or service. (See A Garden as Defined by Nature, Applying the Workbooks to All Gardens, and Video 3.) We can work with nature to bring ideas into effective form and action in exactly the same manner as we would bring a devically designed garden into balanced form. Wherever there is form, one finds natureï¾—and the opportunity to work with nature in a co-creative partnership.
The Perelandra Garden Workbook I and Workbook II are most effective when used together.
