Bird Flu? Why such a fuss?

That is what all the fuss is about: the current Bird Flu Pandemic can change into a very dangerous human-to-human flu.

This in itself is not very dangerous to humans, as humans are not easily infected, even though once infected, more than 60%(!) died so far.

THE REAL THREAT is that it will mutate into a flu that can be transmitted human-to-human. Nobody knows when. Nobody knows how dangerous it will be, i.e. if it will be as deadly as the current virus. However, all who understand this say that this mutation is a REAL and LIKELY possibility.
